Lafayette Nils AaU, 82, passed away at his home in Lafayette on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 of cancer. He is survived by his wife Beatriz E. Aall; step-son Nicanor Barcelo; daughter Charlotte Aall, her fiance Shawn Jolet; daughter Marie Aall-Valencia, her husband Salvador Valencia and grandson Giulian LAFAYETTE Edward Dauterive, 79, died Saturday, July 9, 2011. Mr. Aall was born in Peking, China on June 24, 1928 to Cecilia Heidenreich Aall and Nicolai Aall, Norwegian Ambassador.

He grew up in Lillehammer and Oslo, Norway. He served in the Norwegian Army after World War II and lived in Africa, Australia ana Costa Rica before settling in Venezuela where he lived for over 50 years. Mr. Aall was a loving and devoted father and husband. He shared his love of the ocean and the beach with his wife and children.

His conversations and stories of his life experience and world travels will be missed. He had a life long passion and thirst for knowledge and learning, and often knew the answer to many questions. He loved to share his knowledge and experiences, but was always humble and never discourteous. He thought deeply about the world's problems and had great compassion for all people. He was a loyal life long friend and cherished those close to him.

He worked as a mechanical maintenance manager in the oil industry where his work ethic was admired by his co-workers and friends. Mr. All worked till the last year of his life and found meaning and purpose in having a job to do. He spent the last year of his life and final days with his loving family making life long memories of laughter, hugs, life lessons and sharing his wisdom and warm heart. Wesley was recently honored by the City of Lafayette with a proclamation honoring his volunteerism. Wesley was always an avid dancer, dancing professionally with Authur Murray Studio in his youth, and continued dancing every Saturday night into his late 80s. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in La Chapelle de Martin Castille in Lafayette. Wesley was a veteran of the Army National Guard, entering at the age of 17 years old and serving during World War II. He then had a long career in the oilfield industry in seismic technology and as a chef, retiring at the age of 62. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester Irving Tripp and the former Viola Louise Wing of Foxboro, MA; and his three brothers and one sister. Warren was a true craftsman and artist and loved to paint and garden. Most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed. Keith was born Monday, November 19, 1956 in Crowley and was a long-time resident of Lafayette. Keith was a graduate of Lafayette High School and retired as District Chief of the Lafayette City Fire Department with over 31 years of dedicated service as a firefighter. He was an Eagle Scout with BSA Troop 19 of Lafayette and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette. Most of all, Keith enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was a caring and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, comrade and friend and will be sadly missed. Mr. Hill is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Joni Schiller Hill of Lafayette; three children, daughter Eliza Jane Hill and sons Thomas Charles Hill and Nathaniel Duncan Hill, all of Lafayette; his mother Roxie Duncan Hill, of Lafayette; two brothers, Gregory Paul Hill and his wife, Janice of Lafayette and Ronald Dean Hill and his wife, Kathryn of Houston, TX; close family friend Terri Hill of Houston, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; and his extended brotherhood of firefighters. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Lee Charles Hill of Crowley.
